Scarlet Enclave Loot Guide – Season of Discovery (SoD)

Season of Discovery brought some new bonus content to WoW Classic with Phase 8, including a brand new raid, the Scarlet Enclave. The raid drops new endgame loot, from a new tier of class armor sets to new quest items and items required for a new legendary weapon.
Sanctified Gear
Most Scarlet Enclave loot is marked as Sanctified, including the new tier sets, so they can be used with the Seal of the Dawn trinket inside Naxxramas.
Tier Sets
Along with the raid, Phase 8 of Season of Discovery adds an entirely new assortment of class tier sets for WoW Classic. These sets cover every class/role combination, just like the other tier sets throughout the season. Their appearances are drawn from other equipment sets from Vanilla WoW and The Burning Crusade, recolored to fit the Scarlet Crusade theme for this raid.
There are two different ways you can obtain these tier pieces. The first is by turning in the appropriate tokens that drop in the Scarlet Enclave raid. The second is by turning in an appropriate Scarlet Uniform piece along with a Crusader’s Trophy.
Tier Tokens
There are three types of tier tokens that drop in the Scarlet Enclave raid for every slot. The same classes share tokens as they did for the Tier 3 sets in Naxxramas:
- Druid, Paladin, Shaman
- Priest, Rogue, Warlock
- Hunter, Mage, Warrior
The tokens can be turned in at the two vendors listed below.
Tier Vendor Locations
There are two vendors who can be used to purchase the Scarlet Enclave tier sets, either by turning in the tokens listed above or by turning in a Crusader’s Chalice along with an appropriate Scarlet Uniform crafted item that matches the same slot.
The vendors are Leonid Barthalomew the Revered at Light’s Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands and Bryon Steelblade, the Scarlet Quartermaster inside the keep in New Avalon.

Scarlet Enclave Tier Sets
Ashbringer
There is a new legendary weapon in Phase 8, Ashbringer, that can be obtained using items that are acquired in the Scarlet Enclave raid.
The quest to obtain the weapon begins with Ruined Lightforged Blade, which drops from the second boss in the raid, High Commander Beatrix. The blade starts the quest Blades of Light. From there, you will be gathering additional items to assemble the weapon, including Lightforged Iron which can drop from every boss as well as the Scarlet Junkbox from the New Avalon Weekly Quest.
Scarlet Enclave Trash Loot
Trash mobs throughout the instances have a chance to drop Scarlet Uniform crafting patterns and Righteous Orbs.
Pirate Hoard
Freeing a gnome in the prison will allow you to loot a chest in the southern boat when you reach the pirate area. The chest contains the trinket below.

Sword in the Stone
In various locations inside the Scarlet Enclave you may find an interactable object called Sword in the Stone. A character with at least 1000 Strength can remove it to obtain the weapon Caladboulder. Getting this weapon to 0% Durability will turn it into Caladbolg.

Scarlet Enclave Boss Loot
All bosses in the Scarlet Enclave raid have a chance to drop Scarlet Uniform crafting patterns, Righteous Orbs, and Lightforged Iron.
