Fury Warrior Pre-Raid & BiS Gear

In this section we will be covering a Fury Warrior’s Pre-Raid BiS gearset along with their BiS gearset for each phase. As each new phase is released, this page will be updated to better reflect the gear available. In the interest of simplicity and accessibility, any gear purchased through PvP means (Arena or Battleground) have been excluded. As well, any items that drop from world bosses have been excluded from the main list due to rarity but have received a foot note if necessary.

Pre-Raid BiS (And Other Options)

Armor

• Head: Mask of the Deceiver (50 Badges of Justice) or Wastewalker Helm
• Neck: Adamantine Chain of the Unbroken or Haramad’s Bargain or Choker of Vile Intent (Useful you still need the Hit Rating)
• Shoulders: Ragesteel Shoulders (Made by Blacksmiths, but you do not need to be a Blacksmith to equip them)
• Cloak: Vengeance Wrap or Cloak of the Inciter (Useful if you still need the Hit Rating)
  • Alternative: Netherfury Cape provides an additional 8 Attack Power and 0.14% Critical Strike Chance while sacrificing 1.01% Hit Chance when compared to Cloak of the Inciter
• Chest: Bulwark of Kings or Breastplate of Kings
  • Alternative: If you have chosen professions other than Blacksmithing and Leatherworking, you can seek out Chestguard of Exile to use
  • Terrorweave Tunic is a great choice if you are lucky enough to obtain it from Doomwalker
• Wrist: Black Felsteel Bracers (Made by Blacksmiths, but you do not need to be a Blacksmith to equip them)
• Hands: Fel Leather Gloves or Felfury Gauntlets or Ragesteel Gloves
• Waist: Deathforge Girdle or Ebon Netherscale Belt
  • While Ebon Netherscale Belt provides an additional 4 Attack Power and 0.09% Critical Strike Chance, it requires specializing into Dragonscale Leatherworking and using this gearset, we won’t be achieving the 3-piece set bonus
• Legs: Midnight Legguards or Fel Leather Leggings
  • Alternative: Vanquisher’s Legplates or Clefthoof Hide Leggings
  • Scaled Greaves of the Marksman are optimal if you are fortunate enough to have them drop from Doom Lord Kazzak
• Feet: Fel Leather Boots or Sha’tari Wrought Greaves
• Ring: Shapeshifter’s Signet
• Ring: Overseer’s Signet (Useful if you need the Hit Rating) or Ring of Arathi Warlords (25 Badges of Justice – Use if you have achieved the Hit Cap)
• Trinket: Bloodlust Brooch (41 Badges of Justice)
• Trinket: Hourglass of the Unraveller or Icon of Unyielding Courage (Useful for reaching Hit Cap and for the Armor Penetration it offers)

Weapons

• Main-Hand: Black Planar Edge or Dragonmaw
  • Alternative: If you have chosen a profession different than Blacksmithing, you can use The Bladefist
• Off-Hand: Vindicator’s Brand (Requires Exalted with The Aldor) or Fel Edged Battleaxe
  • Alternative: Blinkstrike (May be pretty pricey, though)
• Ranged: Felsteel Whisper Knives (Useful for reaching and maintaining your Hit Cap) or Mama’s Insurance

Phase 1 BiS (And Other Options)

Armor

• Head: Warbringer Battle-Helm
• Neck: Choker of Vile Intent (25 Badges of Justice – Useful you still need the Hit Rating) or Adamantine Chain of the Unbroken
• Shoulders: Warbringer Shoulderplates
  • Ripfiend Shoulderplates are optimal if you are fortunate enough to have them drop from Doom Lord Kazzak
• Cloak: Vengeance Wrap
• Chest: Bulwark of Kings
  • Terrorweave Tunic is a great choice if you are lucky enough to obtain it from Doomwalker
• Wrist: Bladespire Warbands or Black Felsteel Bracers
• Hands: Gauntlets of Martial Perfection or Grips of Deftness (Great for their added Expertise Rating) or Liar’s Tongue Gloves
• Waist: Girdle of the Endless Pit or Gronn-Stitched Girdle
• Legs: Skulker’s Greaves or Midnight Legguards
  • Warbringer Greaves are also an option if you are seeking out the 4-piece bonus
  • Scaled Greaves of the Marksman are optimal if you are fortunate enough to have them drop from Doom Lord Kazzak
• Feet: Ironstriders of Urgency or Fel Leather Boots
  • Ironstriders of Urgency have two gem sockets that can be used for Hit Rating gems (Rigid Dawnstone and Glinting Noble Topaz to achieve the socket bonus) for a total of 12 Hit Rating compared to 25 from Fel Leather Boots
• Ring: Ring of a Thousand Marks
• Ring: Shapeshifter’s Signet
  • Alternative: Mithril Band of the Unscarred
• Trinket: Bloodlust Brooch (41 Badges of Justice)
• Trinket: Dragonspine Trophy or Hourglass of the Unraveller or Icon of Unyielding Courage (Useful for reaching Hit Cap and for the Armor Penetration it offers) or Abacus of Violent Odds

Weapons

• Main-Hand: Black Planar Edge or Dragonmaw
• Off-Hand: Spiteblade or Hope Ender
• Ranged: Xavian Stiletto

Phase 2 BiS (+Other Options)

Regarding our Tier 5 Set Bonus (4 Pieces = “Your Overpower ability now grants you 100 attack power for 5 sec.”) It is now possible for us to reach 6.5% Expertise, eliminating the chance for our attacks to be dodged which is a prerequisite to use Overpower.

Armor

• Head: Destroyer Battle-Helm
• Neck: Pendant of the Perilous or Choker of Animalistic Fury (They provide the same stats)
• Shoulders: Shoulderpads of the Stranger (Ideal for the increased Expertise)
  • Note: While Ripfiend Shoulderplates may be considered slightly better, they drop from a World Boss and may be difficult to come across in your adventures
• Cloak: Vengeance Wrap or Razor-Scale Battlecloak
  • Note: While Black-Iron Battlecloak is considered potentially better than Vengeance Wrap, it drops from a World Boss and may be difficult to come across in your travels
• Chest: Bulwark of the Ancient Kings or Bloodsea Brigand’s Vest
  • Note: As mentioned above, our Tier 5 Set Bonus (4 Pieces) is not worth sacrificing our Hit Rating by selecting Destroyer Breastplate
• Wrist: Bracers of Eradication or Bladespire Warbands
• Hands: Gloves of the Searing Grip or Gauntlets of Martial Perfection
  • Note: This choice is based on the Expertise Rating on Gloves of the Searing Grip
• Waist: Belt of One-Hundred Deaths
• Legs: Greaves of the Bloodwarder or Destroyer Greaves
• Feet: Warboots of Obliteration
• Ring: Band of the Ranger-General
• Ring: Ring of a Thousand Marks
• Trinket: Tsunami Talisman
• Trinket: Hourglass of the Unraveller, Skyguard Silver Cross, or Bloodlust Brooch
  • Note: Skyguard Silver Cross has a great amount of Critical Strike Rating, but its “chance effect” requires you to kill an enemy, which means if you are hoping to benefit from it during a boss, it will have to be one that has adds that you receive credit for killing

Weapons

• Main-Hand: Talon of the Phoenix or Wicked Edge of the Planes
• Off-Hand: Talon of Azshara or Rod of the Sun King
• Ranged: Serpentshrine Shuriken (Ideal for helping reach Hit Caps) or Serpent Spine Longbow
  • Note: Other options for ranged weapons for Hit Rating would include either Veteran’s Musket or Marksman’s Bow (Alliance and Horde, respectively) or Arcanite Steam-Pistol
