What's this notion that when you kill the last boss your done with the game?
For the competitive side of the community there is an end... We beat the content that is available. We won. Now, obviously we have to continue gearing for the next phase, but for now, we've finished the game. And to be honest, there really isnt much to do... And phase 2 doesnt really add anything new for us. Dire Maul is ehhh, we'll grab a handful of blues and be done in a few days. There is PvP but we cant control the bracket with BG's so we wont bother until phase 3. World bosses are sort of out of our control, we may attempt the tags but these are usually more effort than they are worth on a mega server. We'll just sorta coast until BWL.
Depending on how long phases are we will likely be farming MC/Ony for 6 - 9 months+.
Finally got my damned shoulders, as well as the tabard!
Still missing the boots. I'm willing to dish out 10g even though it's not going to be useful that much. The 1% hit bonus could be good though.
Our AH is greedy as shit though, people want 30g for that...

Arguably I think phase 2 is the best time for PvP! At least for me (even as a warrior hah).
I mean BG's are nothing new, yes they add twink brackets which can be a fun addition, but for my main I much rather engage in world PvP than static BG spamming.
I can see it being a PITA if you are on an unbalanced server though.

Yeh as a feral druid I think Phase 2 will probably be a lot of fun. Phase 3 is good if I want to be a dedicated flag carrier - but I don't think I would be able to commit to a premade WSG group, more just queue as I feel like it, carry the flag if it suits the game/my mood etc.

You would think that. You'll find groups of 5-10 players standing near a flightpath at Ungoro at Marshalls Point or near Gadgetzan killing the lowest level players they can while still collecting honor to maximize their xp per hour. As soon as they face any resistance they will relocate. This will not be the romantic story of two factions warring in Hillsbrad. Unfortunately people know too much about the honor system and will maximize their honor per hour. Phase 2 PvP will be pretty awful.

Ever the optimist Stfuppercut! Haha. You are right though, on certain servers are certain times you will get the 1% finding the most efficient way to farm honor, whether it be camping a flightpath or a quest giver or a boat etc.
Hopefully rather than a war in hillsbrad, or a flightpath camping session, the hope is for slightly more smaller scale or organic PvP happening throughout the world. Although a big war for some honor grinding would certainly be fun. I had some great World PvP in Azshara fighting over dragons.

I like to consider myself a realist, having quite a lot of experience in Vanilla/Private/Classic. Thats why my predictions are pretty accurate :biggrin: I see things.

Druids in TBC are by far the most OP class for PVP, the only counter I could recall is fear!
Other than taht they can heal through anything, get out of anything, tank/take any damage and can do alot of damage!

I guess what i am trying to say is I dont power through everything so i am not standing around waiting for new things.
I enjoy the ride and go off the path when it comes to playing.
In vanilla some guild members only logged on when it was raid time and logged off.
My friends and I would be on at all hours of the night and day just shooting the shit and slowly doing dungeons, crafting, farming.
Sometimes I log on and dont accomplish anything and enjoy random pvp battles, help people in dungeons i dont need, streaking in goldshire lol, idk I think i am different.
I smell the roses and dont have a clear objective/chore to do and get it done and ignore everything else

Great too see lots of people have a good time, for me unfortunate my progress have slowed bit down due to some irl issues that takes lots of mental energy. I reached 40 on my warlock but kinda lost touch of the character, so i decided to make a dwarf hunter that i used to play back in days as well, and i am amazed how quickly i have leveled the character, 25 currently on him.
Level 34 at the moment questing through various zones.
I'm taking my sweet time with this, as there is no rush with the current phases' schedule. Don't really have a choice anyway, playing after work and on the weekends when I have the time.
Questing, doing dungeons, helping guild mates, playing the auction house, exploring.
Life's good, really enjoying classic, can't wait to do some Scholomance runs, what a great dungeon.
