LOL my main (hunter) is only up to 52 because I keep taking breaks and popping onto my alts. I'm a ridiculous altoholic, and this was also my main issue in vanilla. I literally did not reach max level with anything until BC released because I just wanted to do everything instead of focusing on only one character. :P
I'm in the same boat since my main is level 42 but I wouldn't call this an issue when you are having fun playing like this. It's just how you or other people play this game.
It has been extremely fun to level my first Classic character and I enjoy exploring the different zones once again! So far, my troll warrior is level 24 and my played time is about 24 hours. I did not expect it to be this fast, but I guess the leveling speed will slow down when I get to 40-60 level range.
Can't wait to get level 60 and raiding again, but I am certainly not going to rush with leveling as I want to enjoy every zone and dungeon. Going to enter contested zones quite soon, hopefully I don't bump into Alliance ganking patrols too often...
I switched to warlock and it has been much more faster to level with it compared to warrior as I am now 22 with several hours less played. Much less downtime while leveling and I have capability to pull more mobs with dots. Enjoying this warlock leveling so far and compared to my warrior I have less "oh shit"-situations as I can handle several mobs simultaneously and escape easily if needed. In short: I'm lovin' it.
Been having a blast raiding with my team for the past 6 months or so. Tanked everything at one point or another now, even had a couple shots at Nefarian.
I had so many buffs last night that we asked the druids and priests to not use any renews or heals over time on me in fear of pushing buffs off from hitting the buff cap, lmao
Was able to hit 11,143 health
And we brought our BWL clear time down to 1h2m. Not too far behind our 55m MC clear record.
I would rather die than lose a single one of those beautiful buffs!! Oh wait...
Dude no joke I took 10,814 damage to the face from Broodlord within the span of a second and got put in the dirt. I wasn't the MT for that fight, but Broodlord has a threat drop mechanic or something because he likes to flip targets towards the end. A few stam buffs had fell off by then and my max health was down to 10.7k and the big man still basically one-shot me. That mortal strike is a motherfucker.
It was fine though, I still had around 9.7k health without the lung juice cocktail, darkmoon faire, and trib stam buffs.
I'm pretty sure I was already over the buff cap though. I should have been over 12k health with my gear and all the buffs I had. I think gear enchants count towards the buff cap, and it seemed like the numbers weren't lining up with what I was expecting. I think some things were starting to get pushed off.
Whatever though, I still had a blast coordinating getting the DMF buff out of Mulgore, summons to a cleared trib run, followed by getting summoned out of the blasted lands with the lung juice buff still up. I had to find a way to get from Mulgore to Feralas to the Blasted Lands and back to Stormwind in time to get the Ony buff without any of them running out. I paid for summons from some people in some key areas and it all came together. Hearing people in discord laughing in shock seeing me roll up with six rows of buffs under my name was pretty funny
Trying to see how many buffs I can bring to raid night is half the fun and it doesn't bug me at all when I lose them.
Man I love the horde warrior PVP crab shoulders. I wish I could snag a set.
So far I have been doing it very slowly. I wanted to enjoy the leveling ride as best I could. At the moment I am lvl 38 and approaching sweet lvl 40. I still have to grow a lot of gold to 40, at the moment I have about 50 g, but with this spell at 40 I have to get much more. I don't think I have enough money to buy a mount right away, but I hope to do it soon
