By default it has to be phase 1 just for the release hype.

Putting that aside I would say phase 2 is going to be a belter if you enjoy WPvP.

I've always thought the gates of AQ looked pretty cool since I didn't start playing till early TBC. Just seems like a cool thing to be a part of.

Im finishing from kronos server and the lack of battlegrounds and wpvp was a real downer to me. There was very little to no pvp going on. It was more of a pve server than a pvp server so looking forward to AV.

Its pretty awesome to be a part of a group effort like aq. I can wait for all the phases though. I hope they take their time releasing all the content.

Phase one simply because there will be no reason to PvP and no reason to raid. All of Phase 1 for me will be spent farming gold and stockpiling consumes. My buddy and I plan to have enough PvP consumes for R1-R13, Enough consumes to sustain raiding up to AQ40, stockpile late game mats that will sell high on different patches. Epic mounts, boe's bought/farmed for our main and 2nd main and 10k gold at least in the bags.

after that the rest of the phases will play out like so:

Phase two is all ranking and MC farming before reset. Goal is to push R10/11 before Phase 3.

Phase 3 hit R13 and then i'll be tanking on my paladin with R13 set carrying me for MC farming and BWL until AQ is released. I'll also be hosting my own MC pugs with bindings ressed. I'll have the mats pre-farmed so once bindings dropped i'll have TF.

AQ release the game becomes casual and i'll just be tanking raids and enjoy the fruits of my labor as I casually farm consumes for raids and profit off my late game mats stockpile.

I'm just excited to play I don't have a preference as to which one I just want to play the game

Dire Maul in phase 2 is where I get most of my money from. I'm not fanatical about PVP but I love Alterac Valley which is in Phase 3 and consequently also comes with BWL.

I've never done Ahn'quiraj in classic or Naxxramas, so that is something to look forward to.

Why is Phase 1 an option? Like...it's the base game. Of course we like it. I feel like it kinda is messing up the more interesting other answers.

Anyways, I answered ZG phase. ZG is super great and I'd play the shit out of ZG with a casual, 20 man only guild.

I plan on PvP'ing in classic so phase 3 will be really captivating.

For me it is phase 3. I would really like to do battlegrounds. Especially AV.

I just wanna tank MC & Onyxia. Those are my goals for Classic, boomer coming in.

BTW, if you guys have spent any time with the character planner on Wowhead...you'll realize, if you've played a lot of private servers, that the gear we take for granted as being in the game isn't. Just did a quick mockup for an elemental shaman in MC/ZG gear, and holy shit. I totally forgot about how items like Spellweaver's Turban were weak/bad/didn't exist for most of the game. That stuff is Phase 5. And apparently the Shaman totem slot items aren't even in the game til phase 6.

Phase 2. World PVP is going to be amazing. I'm looking forward to battlegrounds as well, but that'll for sure take away from the insane PVP we're going to be engaging with in the world.
