How many of you guys are looking forward to this?
I’ve played WoW since Vanilla, but never the Warcraft 3 games. Whilst I’ve learnt and appreciated the lore through the MMO, always felt like some of the cutscenes and characters should have had more of an impact on me.
Looking forward to seeing the foundations.
Warcraft 3 has had a colossal impact on my enjoyment of WoW. While I discovered the MMO first I only grew attached to the Warcraft universe after playing the RTS games and their innumerable mods and custom maps. Warcraft 2 still holds a special place in my heart but Warcraft 3 is my favorite of the bunch for its unique lore and engine flexibility.
I'm guessing Reforged will be to Warcraft 3 as Starcraft 2 is to Starcraft and that's great, even though the low poly models and simplicity of the Editor tool will always have an irreplaceable charm for me.
We will see.

Im definitely intrigued. Normally you would think it would be a detriment to have 2 RTS's. But recent studies show their respective fantasy attracts two entirely different demographics.

It was SO weak, and so far removed from what a Warcraft cinematic should look like. felt like an ad for one of those facebook games. Just not for me anyway.
Trailer or not I’ll play the frick out of it just like I did RoC and TFT. Just hope the voice acting is not shit and that they don’t play silly games with the lore.
I haven't played warcraft 3 much and I know jack shit about it, but I will give it a try for sure lads! I like RTS and Strategy games so that's a huge bonus. A bit offtopic, but I am crossing my fingers for a new decent Age of Empires.

They made a remastered version a few years ago, even though it was literally a reskin you still can’t beat the original.

They’ve mentioned that they have “tweaked” the lore to fit in with the MMO expacs. Will be interesting to see from those who played the originals how far they’ve moved with it.
Call me old fashioned but i prefer the original graphics.
Actually replayed WC3 before classic launch. I don’t care much for Reforged. Great game nevertheless; no way you can go wrong.
I'm super interested in the game having a custom map mode. If the tools are really tight, there could be a lot of really neat maps to play.
Maybe Blizzard could make an actually good MOBA out of one of them.... :)
I don't know if I'll even have time for WC3 Reforged when it launches. I don't know if anyone here knows this but Classic is pretty time consuming. :lol:

Haha the dilemma we are all faced with
I have played W3 and TFT campaigns several times before WoW. Not to mention countless hours in multiplayer. If not for it, I wouldn't enjoy WoW half as much. It allowed me to visit the world and live within it. I wanted to see it all: Kalimdor, Tirisfal (the throne room!), Stratholme. There are just so many references.
I love W3. I'm just scared of lore changes..

I mean...yeah. What's super interesting is that people could basically recreate old versions of Dota in HD with better interface and everything. Which might be kinda cool. I've always loved the history of Dota in seeing how many heroes were brought in and were either garbage or OP and removed later. And there was zero idea of what the game could be down the road.
A similar interest I have in vanilla, certainly, but also the original alpha and beta for the game.
I'm looking forward to DoTA being made once again in this.
