Lost 5 mins of time and the last death skip was missed due to not having hearth. Had to use it after I arrived at Islands because I realized I didn't finish Vanquish. 900 exp overkill as well from a quest
Sevenleaves Haha dude we were doing a speedrun at the same time and in the same place. We were doing Thwarting Kolkar Aggression and there was this little bit of competition to get the plans first, except my stupid pet somehow aggroed a mob on the one I would've gotten. Luckily they respawn in 10 secs.
We both finished and suicided within 5 secs of each other. Great time. I hit 1:47 on my 1-10, which is my best time to-date on warlock.

I honestly can get this down below 1.30 100%, i started doing a diffrent route and this is my 2nd run on this route.
I tried your route out and got 1:40 on my warrior, but got a 2H axe green in tiragarde. I'll try again without the axe and see if I can get a better time but it definitely looks much better.

Recorded the run too, might upload not sure though. Pretty sure this route can shave of 3-5 mins on each class. Also it involes bassicly 0 grinding (except i grind 1000 exp at one point so i can get evis rank 2 before isles)

Here u go mate, only "flaw" with this route is at level 6 at kolkar area u could get fucked by the rare mob. However i will try figire out ways around that (like gouge spam, dodge the thunder clap (he stands still 1 sec when he wanna use it so if u move, you can actually doge it), potion from starting zone etc.)
Played on Lightbringer Server. Still alot of room for improvement, run was done "on the fly" with alot of flaws, sub 17 is definately possible
1.28.35 Classic Beta Shaman Orc.
Honestly this way my FIRST ever shaman run, i didn't play make a shaman char since 2010. I did level a shaman to 5 before this to make sure i knew how much EXP the shaman quests gave and how to do it fast. Otherwise it was completly the first time, still maanged to get a good time (First time anyone did Durotar in less then 1.30?)
Anyway i'm sure this can be 2-3 mins faster with an experienced Shaman. I can upload this run to youtube aswell if you guys want me too :)

orc/troll Warriors@ level 6 can kill him if they pool rage from other mobs and start with around 40-50 rage and use a health potion.

what do you think about duo leveling? Is it worth it or you think questing alone is faster. i dont enjoy the the meta with 5 man grind

I think certain players have shown it can work. Solo will obviously be faster. I think the hardest part of doing a duo level is finding two people with matching schedules and matching competence. For a duo leveling experience to work mutually both players need to have similar skill and play complimentary classes. This is just from an efficiency standpoint. Outside of that I believe that duo is FAR more fun when it actually works and can lead to a lot of interesting PvP play during the leveling process.
So this thread has a ton of responses, wondering if there are any videos that show from the Lights Hope launch. Just wondering what people did to avoid the zerg as I think this will be applicable on the 27th :)
