Spirit healer respawn locations seem to differ as well!
At 01:24:20 you can see him dying in Frostmane Hold - on private servers you would be brought to the Coldridge Valley spirit healer, whereas here he lands in Kharanos.
There might be some nasty surprises for everyone who makes extensive use of spirit healers in their route. :confused:

Been doing these 1-10 runs pretty frequently and my previous best time was 1hr 35m.
Possibly could shave 2-3 minutes off with a perfect run, made a few errors especially gathering meats at level 7, but it seems unrealistic to continue to push this time for me. Maybe I'll try Night Elf instead

Ye quite a bit, the starting zone will obviously be packed so questing 1-10 with a normal route will not be possible, Im thinking that a 3 man group that does exploring 1-3 and then some grinding /certain quests to 10, then you will hopefully be ahead enough to jump into your normal route
I've read/listened to some of the people on Beta that leveling can be 30% longer based on things like mob armor/resistance values and mob spell/ability mechanics that were not correct on private servers. It makes sense looking back at my old vanilla 60 timeframes and other people I played with. Judgement mentioned the increase in other people in starting zones which should also be considered regardless of layering.
Yeh we definitely won't see any/many sub 2hour level 10s on launch. The population and the mob difficulty will completely cripple speed leveling. Ahead of the curve after level 10+ it will get better, but the mob difficulty will still have impact on expect times.

There's quite obviously some slow-downs in beta due to congestion in starter areas so run times aren't easy to assess yet.
Is anyone able to confirm some simple stuff like XP/Quest XP values compared to repack?

This can help you guys a lot. The exact same coding might not work for Classic but I’d imagine this function will certainly be available.

No one post them here yet. I think some streamers did try it. There are still not enough people but sooner or later the speedrun times will appear.
Worth mentioning that Joana is now in the closed beta, so we’ll see a lot of new strategy come out of that. Hopefully it won’t be long before the runners posting here get in too :smile:
