You're being consistent, which is realy good. It maybe time to work on the next section :)

Massivechonk Colroy is the resident Mulgore buff and gave some good info over discord. One main reason I suspect his time is also considerably fast for Mulgore is Shaman has the only interrupt (Earthshock) and there are a LOT of casting mobs that are problematic in the run (Quillboar shamans at 4, Gnoll Tanners at 6, Dwarf Appraisers the absolute worste at 6 also, Harpy casters at 7 and 9/10) but not certain.

I'm still looking to improve my Druid time for Mulgore, which with this help is around 1hr 45 now

The transition from mulgore to barrens really isn't that bad. I end my mulgore run by handing in "the venture co." + "supervisor fiszsprocket" on the road before CT. Then it's just a short run to CT, grab the FP etc. Run about two mins north then die past the bridge so that I res in XR.

In my experience on fresh servers any time you lose getting to XR is negligible compared to the time you gain from routing in mulgore vs durotar/tirisfal.

Anyone tried doing Tauren runs? Ive seen some mulgore screenshots recently with really sick level 10 times. And considering how under represented the race is, and it having only 4 playing classes, I feel like it might be the best one for launch.

My first attempt at speedrunning. Tauren Druid is pretty painful, as you can only cast one wrath before you're OOM at low levels.
Level 10 was around 1h50m, but didn't get a screenshot. Sloppy run, all things considered.

Another run on the repack. This time with a paladin. Died twice.

One thing I noticed on this run was that I was consistently hitting levels earlier in the route than I was with other classes because I was grinding more mobs due to the increased uptime of paladins. We kill slowly but there's very little downtime in between.

Just did another 1-10 in elwynn with paladin. Trying to get a better time and I did decently well. This was done on Northdale.
It was in no way a perfect run - I died twice to being a little cocky when bubble was on CD, and since there is quite a lot of people leveling on northdale atm I had to wait for respawns on a few mobs here and there, should be able to shave off another 5+mins with a better run.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new here. Found this site and wanted to start practicing for classic launch so I'll be doing 1-10 and 1-20 speed runs (Horde side). Anyone have any real good tips? Last I played was 2 months after Northdale released and I leveled a few characters there, but all I used was Joana's guide or Vanilla guide. Do you guys use routes that heavily deviate from Joana's? If anyone wants to toss me a route (or not, i know some like to keep theirs secret, and they can take a lot of work to make) or some tips, I'll gladly try them out. I'll be practicing rogue, warrior, and mage going orc/orc/troll respectively. Hope to see yall around!

Nice run Judgement ! Sounds like you'd be faster than me in similar conditions (repack). Were there any major differences in your route from mine?

In other news, I've been doing some theorycrafting, discussion, and testing, and I think I'm going to pivot away from Human and be a Dwarf Paladin for speedleveling purposes. My rationale is as follows:

It will surely be either a rogue, warrior, or mage. I've yet to decide. Mage gets me going a bit because I love to farm money in games and twink out characters, and mage is just really nice with that easy mara/DM farming with nobody to contest it. Warrior/rogue is likely my ideal "main" simply due to the DPS. I'll probably try a few runs on each and make a split second decision when classic comes closer.

Also, does this place have a discord?

dopedcamel first post has videos for both Horde Rogue and Warrior runs 1-10. Haven’t really seen any Mage runs for Horde side and haven’t tried personally. There’s a popular Alliance Mage speedrunner and from comments in his videos he seems to believe Undead times can compete with Gnome (as fast as 1:25 1-10), for what it’s worth.

@dopedcamel I'm also gonna release a 1-20 run too. Can consistently do 1-10 orc rogue in 1h45m.
Not sure how low i can get 20 yet tho.
