I'd say if it was available by patch 1.12 then you could probably make a good case for it. If they haven't already implemented items. Wonder if beta testers would know..

In my opinion, if they make the vanilla CE pets available, they also should transfer vanilla TCG-loot, community rewards and other promotional vanilla items over to classic if they are linked to the players account,... like the vanilla murloc pets (for example: murky and gurky). Otherwise a lot of ppl will probably rage ;)
