Since it is launching at 11PM here and it is a Tuesday in a work week I unfortunately (or not) will miss launch day for sure.
Then I will just put away my nostalgia googles and take the nostalgia roller coaster a couple of hours a day. Maybe a no-life weekend here and there, but nothing too serious.
Me and 3 of my workmates have requested the day off. Just 1 day. We weren't planning on taking anytime off, but the hype got too real. The leave request hasnt been approved yet... so we'll see!
now its 5 minutes away so I realize 10,000 things I coulda been doing in the past 10 hours > log in > "You have been Disconnected from the Server" > log back in > "Position in Queue: 12,496, Estimated Time: i'll let you in when you get over the fact that you have an S in your otherwise perfect name" > finally get in at 10:30PM EST > walk from the Valley of Trials to the Zeppelin to Tirisfal Glades > miss the zep by 0.001 seconds > finally arrive at Tirisfal so I jump off at my pre-planned spot and ghost-run from Brill to Deathknell > collide with the ground at a force that is 1 newton too powerful > "You have been Disconnected from the Server" > Log back in > "Position in Queue: 74,567
Sounds about right :D
I took 3 days off vacation till Saturday, the release day I'll be working till 2pm (EDT) so in the midtime I'll be stocking up some water bottles, snacks and food.
I'll clean my entire room and leave some space to do some workout, it's gonna be a rough three days of Warcraft so here we go!

Log in watch the insanity in the starting zones, get things set up the way I prefer them, log out, and return to enjoy the game within the next day or two after that.
Well the launch is at 6 PM for me, so I'll be waiting for that queue the moment I can get in. I'll probably turn on the "Make Love not Warcraft" episode of South Park for nostalgia sake while I'm waiting
Then you'd better believe I'm taking at least one vacation day the following day.
I’ll be on holiday till the 8th of september with the missus, so yea... all my buddies are gonna be playing from release day, could say I will already be behind the curve ghegehe

That's what my buddy originally had planned to do as well. Until I convinced him to suffer through the waiting times to play with me instead of just hopping off right away.
There should be dynamic spawns though, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue with so many players in the zones. What's making you wait a day or two?
Man, I wish I could take a holiday right before it. Sadly I can't because where I work the end of august/sept is the busiest time for us and everyone has pretty much been told you can't take vacation during those times.
HOWEVER! I do have a lot of sick days banked........ *sneeze*

That sucks. But at least you can live vicariously through others on Reddit, Twitch, or here. Unless of course you'd rather maintain your innocence and wait until you can play it yourself.
Either way, I hope you come down with the 'worst sickness possible' after release.
Release is 11PM for me. My flatmate and I are going to play together in the living room and we will of course be having a few celebratory beers and whatnot as we play. I don't want to stay up and play all night. I will go to bed at about 5/6AM for roughly 5 hours, that way I won't feel like a total zombie the next day. The next day will be 100% dedicated to the game.
Game-wise I just want to enjoy myself. Not too fussed about how far I get and how quickly I get there.

I don't need to blink since I got these nifty computer glasses. Really helps prevent dry eyes
Im off that monday and requested the following tuesday off. Ill probably clean up, do some laundry.. then get ready for the overpopulated boogaloo at 4pm
I don't plan on stressing the mass hordes, thats for sure. If questing seems nigh impossible, I may start running around grabbing FP's. We'll see!
If the stress test was anything to go by, the starting area will be a bit more difficult, but not impossible, to do on launch day (thanks to layering).
I plan on getting plenty of rest in the days before and on release day (11pm) playing 3-4 hours to get past level 6. The main goal on day 1 is to get far enough to log off in a tavern.
