It just kind of feels good to see all the new servers keep popping up. Feels like the game gets healthier by the server.
I also love that they add new servers even though I think I will stick to Golemagg!
Noone wants to sit in a queue or at least not a long one.
Queues that are 15-20 min for me is fine, maybe even 30 mins because I can do some small chores while watining.
But if we are talking 1-2hrs, heck no!

Both tbh. Time zone will make raiding easier and ping matters in pvp. Though for right now ping is the bigger issue, since with Grob as the only rppvp server, I assume all east coast rppvpers are there, meaning there will be east coast guilds available.
The norwegian and some of the danish community are moving to firemaw. Hopefully this will lower the Shazz queue with some thousands.

Additionally, at this time, based on their expected population and queues, we strongly advise people to move off the following realms:
Herod – PvP
Faerlina – PvP
Whitemane – PvP
If you are currently planning to play on one of these realms, you should expect extremely long queue times that take several hours to get through.

During this process, we have seen a regular trend where characters keep being made on Full realms. Each of the Full realms has a LOT of characters to the extent that it may be more than can fit into the queue system. As a result, you may not be able to get into the queue when you want to play and even if you do, it will likely be a very long wait

I know for sure I've seen queue windows showing people 10,000 back in line. I can't remember, but hasn't there been some pictures floating around showing people at like position 19,000+? They're saying now that there are so many players on these full realms that some players won't even fit into the queue anymore :lol:

All of the existing realms have a healthy population. Even a Full realm in 2006 would be Low by our current metrics. Any realm that is listed above Medium should expect queues at launch, with increasing severity from High to Full.
Queues on all high servers. 'low' population servers would still have higher populations than a full server in vanilla.
I'm starting to think stfu was right, Blizzard was wrong by letting players do this to themselves and gravitate towards already-full servers like flies to a fucking bug zapper :lol: They should have put in a hard cap and locked out new players from getting in the minute they went full. Can't get in to join your buddy? Tough shit, get your buddy to leave for greener pastures.

I've just spent the past several hours trying to figure out how Twitch works, how OBS studio works, how my headset works (the earpieces and the mouthpiece use the same jack so it requires a jack splitter that I haven't seen or touched in 8 months and couldn't be sure I had), etc, all so that I can record the all-day shitshow starting at 10 AM pacific time tomorrow.

There's a lot of Youtube videos that tells you step by step how to set things up. The most important thing is having a good internet. Launchs gonna be a mess tho
