Hello I am Lord Potato I come from the Planet Potato and I been playing this game since '04 and I started as a sophmore in HS and I was a Undead Rogue named Battousai after the anime Rurouni Kenshin I played on Smolderthorn until Cata than I went to Area 51 then down hill when Alliance uh and I am a avid collector of random holiday nonsense

I gotta say, I feel rather silly not seeing the "Introduce yourself" thread until now :)

Hi! I'm a long time player of WoW, i've been playing since Burning Crusade and still play to this day! I started playing when I was 7, so I didn't accomplish much of anything for a very long time, but I enjoyed exploring this vast world (and dieing, a lot...). Nowadays I enjoy raiding, though I only PUG them. I've gotten every Ahead of the Curve achievement from Archimonde to Uu'nat and am working on Queen Azshara at the moment and hope to get that before launch.

But Retail doesn't matter! I am here to experience what I missed, to play Classic. I currently have the lucky ability to play all day, so i'll easily be playing 10+ hours a day every day until Kel'thuzad is dead at my feet (well, dead a few times, gotta get dem atieshes). There is one thing in WoW I have always dreamed of, and I mean literally DREAMED of, and that is the Black Qiraji Battle Tank. I've always been sad about the fact that I missed it, and that I wasn't here to witness it or go after it. Now I have my chance! In addition, i'm excited to be a part of a community, to be there when the realm begins and to be part of the process of it growing into what it becomes.

I enjoy minmaxing, but not to the extreme usually. I dab my feet in PvP, sometimes soak my legs if it means better gear, but I definitely don't focus on PvP even if there is an upgrade deep into it. I read guides, watch videos, bring consumables or anything else that gives me that edge. But going for every single world buff every week is a little crazy, I plan on only doing what is convenient or not too time consuming for everybody or during weeks that are super important.

I can't wait for Classic, to say WoW has had an impact on my life is an understatement bigger than C'thun's canonical size. I know for a fact there will be bumps along the road, but its a road i'm glad to be here for this time around.

EDIT: Oh and I found out about Barrens Chat from Reddit. I remember seeing the original post introducing it, but I forgot about it until I saw a comment mention it recently. I'll be honest, I came here for guild recruitment. But instead I found a wonderful website! :D

Played WoW through all of BC and Wotlk but fell out of love with the game after that. Been back for short periods of time during each expansion for a month or 2 but never enjoyed it as much. 2 irl friends and I are starting a guild on an EU server for pvp and pve and would love to have more people join. We love the social aspect of WoW and are excited to have it back! We've started a Discord for the guild already and are eagerly awaiting the classic launch. See you guys in Stranglethorn!

Hello hello! Haven't been playing toooo long. Tried WoW out back in the bc days but MMOs just weren't for me back then. Tried again and finally clicked with it during the WoD xpac and now I love it! Very much looking forward to playing vanilla WoW soon. Mostly looking forward to a more social experience with WoW and see what I missed out on back in the day!

Sure, there are a number of places you can post a message for your guild, but how are players going to find you through when there are hundreds of other guilds doing the same thing? We offer players the ability to sort, filter, search, and browse through our ever-growing list of guilds.

We're seeking more feedback from the Classic WoW community about how we can better serve you!

Hey all, Started playing WoW back in late-BC and spent most of my time running around pretending I was a scarlet crusader. Didnt really get into the game til Wrath and fell in love with Death Knights and mained one up until BfA when I switched to warrior.

Looking forward to classic and cant wait to get those real WoW adventures in again.

I've been reading these forums trying to contain my hype to finally get to play classic for the fist time.

I'm a TBC player and I've been GM of our Guild twice through Cata and WoD. With extensive experience MT raiding in WoTLK with a different Guild.

I've registered today to advertise our Guild for any EU guys and girls that want to play Horde and enjoy both competitive and social raiding.
