Easy one, the Sahara is Tanaris irl.
I think certain parts of Northern Ontario really look like Mulgore, like the picture above. I'm sure many places in North America could look like Mulgore, but from my own experiences Northern Ontario is a sure winner with the mountains, lakes, and different species of trees.
