it doesn't worry me but i just dont get how they have the focus to go THAT hard. and i worry for their hygiene too.
Naw. These killers go hard for 7 days. 7 days with the boys. Thats all it takes. Like a male hunting trip, they separate from their families and obligations to play WoW for 5-10 days straight for a well earned break. And then they raid log. The only need to play about 2 hours per week to maintain. In the end these badasses only need to play a fraction of the ingame time that a casual user will play while accomplishing so much more. Having been a part of the private server scene and having been in many hardcore raid guilds, you would be VERY surprised who a lot of these guys are... Lawyers, Educators, etc etc etc... In my experience they were not losers, there were a few losers mixed in but the overwhelming majority had a lot going on in their lives which is what motivated them to push hard and set themselves up for the rest of the server. If done right, it only takes 1-2 weeks.
I got 2 level 20 characters right now. One on Gehennas, and one on Stonespine (Stonespine has shorter queues). I've pulled quite a few hours, but the friend I'm playing with literally took a week off work and no-lifed quite a bit. He recently hit 40, andI realize that he's going to have outgeared me by a bit by the time I hit 60, but that's fine.
When I played back in vanilla I started in what in today's terms would be Phase 4. I took 24 days /played to get to 60 and still managed to raid a bit before TBC came out. Some hardcore players managed to down rag with a shoestring raid team, but we will 100% get ours.
Some people just want to be the first at something and it is totally understandable, but most of them also do it for content because they are streamers.
I understand that by not rushing and doing everything as it should be done gives you more content, but rushes like this to level 60 gives you more viewers = more money. I don't pay attention to them anyway except for the level 60 hit clip.
I've got no problem letting those, gotta party up for every flipping quest people, get out of my way. Seems a lot of people can't quest without someone there to hold their hand. It's sad to see.
Just play the game at your own phase, have fun. Do whatever makes you happy. I'm a level 38 warrior and doing EVERY quest I found in the world.

I mean, I group up for quests all the time. I dont need them for say, but want them. It's far more enjoyable to kill 100000 mobs for 2 hours when you have someone to shoot the shit with during that time. Grab a guildy your same level, pop into discord and chat wil you grind for those low prob quest drops.
Appreciate everyone's insight on this. Now I'm not even 31. Even after posting this 2 days ago I haven't leveled once  Took a break and got my professions caught up instead.
Thanks everyone.
Nah.. I'm level 23 & 11 and I think I've played pretty much myself. I dont rush the game, chill and play with friends.
If people wanna rush 60, let them.
If people wanna rush 60, let them.
Problem is these people will start crying after a month because "there's no content".
They are stupid, yes, but stupid viewers will listen and spread the disinformation further. (mostly saying this about streamers)
