You can now download Classic via the b.net launcher.

Wasn't this possible earlier? I've had classic on battle.net for about a month without ever getting into beta or stress test.

Yeah I don't know if people just had old battle.net clients or what, either that or they are doing a slow rollout. Seems like more people are able to download now.

Either way - we're getting close lads. Get your shit together, do what needs to be done now... it's almost time to get sucked in again.

How big is your downloaded client? Mine is 3,89gb only! :o

Classic is only around ~5GB when fully patched, so that sounds about right.

Thank you!

I'm going to install it to my solid state to get past the loading screens a bit quicker! lol

SSD prices are pretty cheap these days. Well worth it to put everything on solid state if you can. NVMe SSDs offer much better numbers on paper, but it seems like in real world gaming applications there isn't much real performance difference between SATA SSDs and their NVMe SSD counterparts. So get you a big cheap SATA SSD and put everything there

I read somewhere on Reddit that it was available for US clients only. Changing the region in the client should do the trick. Is it now also available for EU?

Downloaded and feels good, but they should separate Classic from Retail in the game list.

Yes it's not immediately obvious that it's there on the launcher,
We still have yet to see the server names so I'm sure there will be an update on the laauncher soon.
I'd like to see some official 1.13 patch notes.

I downloaded it 3 or 4 weeks ago so it's been there a while.

Have downloaded also and even managed to login but no servers were spotted. Well lets hope to see son realm list at least.

Apparently classic takes less disk space than the original game since blizzard is better at compressing and storing game files now
