I haven’t been this disappointed in a game in a long, long, time.
The estimated times are laughably wrong. Based on what I've seen so far, it's like 10 people a minute on my realm.
They really want us to experience what it was like back then! Bravo!
Mine says 20k queue, 8 min wait but that was 10 mins ago lol
I think the number is wrong :surprised:
I'm currently sitting at 10k queue with an estimated 401 minute wait time. That's nearly 7 hours
Oh boy, I think logging in 2 hours before was the greatest idea of today...
That worked!? I imagine it would have required a relog after they opened up the flood gates to Azeroth. Smart... I was at work anyway, though!
You know I think I'm just going to pretend that Classic launches next week. I can't cope with the idea of not getting my fix.
Hows the firemaw que anyone?
Wondering if i should walk home during lunch break today and set myself in que so i can play once i get home.
Started at around 8:30 am and the queue was around 6k ppl. Still not in at 9:27 am with 1.8k ppl. Later the queues will be even bigger.
Saw a blue post on the official forms just now that kind of explains why even medium servers have 5k+ queues...

The way realm population display currently works once the servers are live is that High, Medium, and Low are determined dynamically, in terms relative to the most crowded realms. So a realm with pretty rough queues (say 4k-5k) might end up showing as Medium because you aren’t Faerlina, Herod, etc.
This is how it’s worked for a long time, but the unprecedented size of the queues on the handful of outlier realms is skewing the algorithm. The team’s first priority is stability and getting new servers online as needed, but beyond that, we’ll look into changing this logic to be more intuitive (i.e. showing “Full” when a server has a queue, for starters). I know, this is technically not #nochanges, but then again neither are 20k people waiting to log into the same realm…
The servers are so huge it broke their population algorithm
How long can you be afk if you are already in the server? 30 minutes and you get logged out to the character screen? And what then? Can you leave the PC on and it won't kick you out of the character screen?

Would also like to know this.
When server is Medium and queue is 4000+. High class trolling. :-)
OMG, I'm working right now, I can't even imagine how much time I'll have to wait :'c
Blizzzard you fuck it up again......
*Some Awesome Picture*
yikes
Now this looks right!
*Looks at incendius* Queue is like 30 minutes.
Damn... that's my server. Hopefully there will be no queue when I get home from work....
