Some mini-updates!

  • All the stories can now be found on the main post!

  • I tried writing a "backstory of Gallow as a human" story, but I just couldn't find the inspiration for it. It became forced and just "writing for the sake of writing". Sorry. The story will continue after Classic launch!

  • There is still 44 more days till Classic launches so I'm twiddling my thumbs here, so I tidied up the stories and did some grammar / spelling updates. That being said I'm not a native speaker so please let me know if you have any corrections!

  • Shameless guild advertisement: <Goblin Rocket Fuel Rats> has 18 members now, such awesome people. Things are still on the quiet side since the game hasn't even launched yet, but those who are interested (and are going to be playing on Oceanic/PvP/Horde) are certainly welcome!

    Story Arc #2, [???]

Tirisfal Glades was finally safe. Before heading out to Undercity to buy myself a fishing rod, I had one important decision to make.

For Chapter #5, Gallow should go to...
    Silverpine Forest (Eastern Kingdoms)
    Barrens (Kalimdor)

    Please vote below!

Who didn't love those Choose your own adventure books when growing up? I for one really enjoyed turning page after page, making terrible choices and resulting in every characters death...! Hahhahaha... Well okay, there will be (hopefully) not that many deaths in Gallow's adventures, but I still think it's nice to choose the next leveling stage. Please click the link above and vote where you'd like me to level next in the next chapter!
(which will be after Classic launches)

For our alliance readers, here is a little cheat-sheet for both zones:

    Silverpine Forest

  • Is very spooky. Similar to Duskwood!

  • Continues the forsaken lore.

  • Great lore regarding the plague.

  • Has Greymane Wall, but it is closed during vanilla.

  • Has ties to Dalaran (old).

  • Has plenty of werewolves and murlocks, diseased wildlife, as well as elite open world dungeons, plus the dungeon of Shadowfang Keep that is cursed by Arugal.
  • Barrens

  • The largest and most popular leveling zone for Horde.

  • Good lore on orcs/trolls/tauren.

  • Has Barrens Chat!

  • Some pirate shenanigans.

  • Has a good deal of mob variety (raptors, lions, plainstriders, centaurs etc), as well as iconic quests (Mankrik's wife, Chen's Keg, etc).

  • A good change of scenery, very iconic open.... barrens.

  • Houses the Wailing Caverns, which I will be visiting regardless of chapter.

Just wanted to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed your writing and will continue to tune in. I just leveled my first undead character on a private server and your stories really brought everything to life a bit more. A true pleasure!

Thank you very much! I'm glad people are enjoying the stories as much as I enjoy writing them. Classic truely cannot come any sooner!
I've also tidied up my original post, hopefully it should look better both on mobile and PC

I hope everyone is having fun with the Classic release!

A new story, as well as a bonus story was added to OP! Hope you'll take a look while you are not playing, perhaps on the way to your work, at your work, or while waiting for the queues...

my favourite part of this entire adventure ever:
I enjoyed ripping his heart out this time around. I even ate him even though I wasn’t hungry. That would teach the other Scarlets never to mess with Gallow.

You should be playing on Grobbulus, Gallow. There's literally an entire website dedicated to this type of thing called Grobb.org

Unfortunately I'll have to murder you on sight since you decided to ally yourself with the savages.

Grobb.org looks great! My original TBC character was on a PvP-RP server as well, and it was great fun! Unfortunately we are based on an Oceanic server. It's a real shame because I would have loved to be feasting on your bones! But at the very least I hope you continue reading our adventures, as grim as they might be for a puny ally such as you!

Ran past you last night. Lucky you were in a horde area otherwise I'd probably have given you a bop on the head and messed with you a little bit. :P

    I'm not a dwarf, and fighting a level 39 as a 60 seemed rude. :)
