Yeah, I agree, that was my main issue deciding between Tauren and Night Elf. Shadowmeld is such an underrated racial which is so nice in PvP, or even trying to get through some mobs, but at the same time... you have to be an elf... So I figured a bipedal bovine that lives on-top of these huge bluffs wins me over rather than some combat advantage.
Yeh I like the dodge passive from NE for tanking, but the HP/War Stomp I feel is probably better from Tauren. Plus like you say, walking around as a bipedal bovine cruising from bluff to bluff on a suspended wooden bridge is just baller.
