EU has 5 PvP servers, 2 English, 1 French, 1 German, 1 Russian and one RP_PvP. We have just as many as the US guys, but some people in Europe dosnt speak english so they get their own language servers.
Also, who cares about server names? I dont care at all, i will join the server my guild leaders settle on.
With only 2 English PvP realms the Alliance/Horde ratio might be close to 50/50.
I don't understand the server names debate. Does it really matter that much ?
No, not really. But we've all been waiting for so long that everything else has already been talked to death at this point. So now we get to complain about server names to hold us over while we wait the final few weeks :lol:

Gonna be playing on Zandalar Tribe, but I feel like the realm name is too long, why have 'Tribe' at the end? Just lessens the appeal of the server for me. 'Zandalar Realm' rather than 'Zandalar Tribe Realm'

I mean... you could just call it the 'Zandalar Realm'. Blizzard won't ban you for not typing out the full server name every time you refer to it.

Apparently because they wanted RP realms to be named after reputations, with the strange exception of Grobbulus being piled in with the NA PvP naming convention. An unfortunate exception really, I can't think of any reputation that would sound worse.

People planning weeks ahead and picking with their guilds like us are the minority, a lot of people base their server choice entirely on the name. I heard Area 52 was a hotbed for weirdos back in the day.

So my options are Golemagg or Shazzrah for PvP, I guess Golemagg is the less lame of the two, Shazz was such a pathetic boss.

I'll see the name every time I'm at the login screen. And just saying Zandalar can create confusion with BfA since its the main Horde continent and not the actual name of the Realm.
I'm not 'stressed', I just don't like the name. Am I not allowed to say I would prefer the name Zandalar without being accused of a basement dwelling neckbeard?

Maybe saying 'too long' was not really my issue with it, because I actually like the name Defias Brotherhood and have been playing on Argent Dawn for years. It's not a big deal I was just airing my feelings that I think it would be cooler as just Zandalar :biggrin:
