I remember back in Wrath there were bonuses for gathering professions. Mining gave Stam , herbalism had a heal, & skinning have crit. Are those in vanilla, or were they added later?

Profession buffs weren't in vanilla.

And I'm of the opinion that they shouldn't be either. Profession active/passives mostly just made up for the fact that professions gradually grew less and less useful for gear as expansions rolled out and professions mostly just became a way to make a bit of money. The only crafting professions that didn't lose most of their use was enchanting, alchemy, and JC after they added it.
