What kind of style will you be levelling your enhance shammy out of interest? I've heard there's two builds that people like to go for: sure and steady 1h dagger + shield (flametongue proc) style or the more unstable/bursty 2H Windfury (flurry proc).
Liking the spread of professions across your alts.
Leaning towards male tauren druid (main goal: tanking).
Do realise that the viability lies in the druids versatility. E.g. be the jack of all tracés.
Dammit!! Doubt starts gnawing at me.... still flustered wether to pick ally/nelf or tauren/horde. 99.9% of my wow time I was Horde.
Looks-wise: nelf cat wins clearly hands down period. But Nelf bear sucks donkey-balls...I mean those ears on a bear? Really?!
Racials: regarding tanking Its 1%dodge vs more more base stamina.
Love to hear hour opinions!!!
I suggest logging in and deciding on the spot what feels right to you. Overthinking never helped anyone :) I have also had a lot of doubts but that is just part of it.
My very first character at WoW release was a hunter but I kept rerolling. Eventually I mained rogue in vanilla then mage in TBC and WOTLK. Think I'm gonna go back and finish what I started, hunter all the way.
I realistically only have time for a main, rather than a main and tons of alts, so I'm thinking of choosing a versatile class. I'm stuck between Druid and Paladin for a PvP realm.
Druid main would be great leveling with the different forms to stealth or just move around the world faster. Also having the ability (from what I've been told) to choose between off-tanking or healing for raids is pretty nice, since I love tanking but would rather not play warrior.
Paladin main would be a killer in PvP and PvE but also a lot of people I'm sure are going to be rolling them, which might dilute the class too much to be a pick for a raid. Also the only realistic chance for me to raid/PvP is to become a holy pally and while healing is great and fun, it isn't the same as tanking.
For now I'm slightly leaning towards Druid, although I have no idea which faction I'd choose so I'm still slightly lost.

Hey Sweater, welcome to the forum!
I'd actually say that not a lot of people will be rolling paladins - certainly not as mains anyway. I think you'll see some cool guys doing ret and prot and perhaps a few twinks as well but by and large I don't think people want to playing blessing-bot in late game PvE on their main. Just my 2 cents anyway.
I think the Druid choice is a lot more versatile - personally it's what I would pick :) If you use this tool it might help you choose between Night Elf or Tauren druid.
Really want to get into healing so I think I'm going to go with Troll Priest
I honestly wanted to play dwarf paladin, but I'm just kind of put of by some of the things I've read about Paladins in classic.

Right now I am choosing between Priest and Druid. I have played Pala recently and I would probably suggest you to play Druid instead. Pala healing is fun but can get boring over time as your rotation is very simple. Pala healers are, for the most part, the most efficient healers and quite op in PVP. Pala tank is basically non-existent in raids. Ret Pala is viable but you have to put lot of effort into it to make it work. It also depends on what guild you would be in. Some guilds don't mind having players with sub-optimal specs and if it is fun for you, make it happen.
Otherwise I would suggest going Druid, it is blast to play and you will have more raiding opportunities if you want to tank. Feral tank is good imo, it has some advantages as well as some disadvantages compared to Warrior but should be good addition to any raid imo. If you would like to get some opinion on druid vs warrior tanking, you should check out this YT channel for instance: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5xSfo5nMGSmv00sGpRN7SQ
Feral dps is also a thing but highly effort-demanding as well as ret paladin. Resto Druids are awsome. Some say they are not that good at healing and there is valid reason for that but if you learn how to play it, you can be very effective as well as efficient. Druids are overall underrated imo.
Anyways, I have played both Druid and Paladin in raids as healers so you can ask me anything you would like about them :)
I've start as rogue on BC.
From this day and forever more i will be a rogue !
Maybe later will i play a fire mage.
You know... instant pyroblast...this feeling...you know what i mean ;)
As of right now, going back to the old mage roots, i cant wait for classic release its gonna be a lot of fun to play again. :)
I've completely fallen in love with playing Shadow Priest, and that's definitely what I'll be making my main in Classic. I think I'll have him as my solo character, but when I'm playing with friends in a group I'll roll a Mage or something for AoE during questing.
For now I'm slightly leaning towards Druid, although I have no idea which faction I'd choose so I'm still slightly lost.

It seems like Night Elf is levels above Tauren in terms of combat advantages but at the same time Night Elves look very weird in their druid forms. I've heard that Alliance would generally be better in pre-made battlegrounds and Horde would be optimal for PuG battlegrounds, do you know if that'll have any relevancy in Classic? Just wondering since that might be a good reason to go Alliance.

In Classic, are Druids generally accepted as off-tanks by most guilds for raids? Because if that's an option then that would be what I would strive for. Do bears work well for tanking in dungeons as well, or are they more of a choice if there's nothing else? I know you said that you healed in raids, but I take it as you also know what tanks there were.
Thanks in advance!
Paladin or Druid.
SweaterMonster Bear druids are kinda generally considered off-tanks but I am not sure if that's the right naming. You can sometimes main tank certain bosses. It depends on whether you need the benefits of warrior or druid on the specific encounter. As bear you can tank dungeons with ease. I have tanked all dungeons on my druid while levelling and it was good.
I think I'm going to roll a Dwarf Priest to play with friends and a Night Elf Hunter to level when playing alone.
Edit: I'm also thinking of playing a Druid maybe for gathering, could be a nice healer or off-tank. Idk, I wanna play everything!!
That sounds like a good plan that will let you enjoy both worlds :)
I'm far too invested into the priest fantasy to not main priest :) On the days I find myself contemplating the idea of maining mage, I just think about those sweet, sweet, https://www.wowhead.com/item-set=202/vestments-of-prophecy and immediately I remember my calling.
Holy paladin. It's my original main, and I haven't healed since the end of Wrath. Looking forward to healing again!

One of the best looking sets in the game!
